Mr. Rodriguez, I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the wonderful event this past Saturday for the viewing of Wall E for the families of special needs children. My son isn't able to attend regular showings of movies due to his disabilities and my wife was actually asked to leave another theater last week when she tried to take him. Our entire family, and especially our son enjoyed the opportunity to go out to the movies. I know that your staff was pretty short handed on Saturday, but they did a wonderful job, and I hope that other families of special needs children are as grateful as I am for this opportunity. special
needs
showings
available.
My daughter
is 7 and the
only two
movies she's
ever sat
through were
Horton Hears
a Who and
Kung Fu
Panda --
both at the
Arlington
Studio Movie
Grill at a
Special
Needs
showing. We
love movies
and watch
them at
home. But
because of
my daughters
sensory
aversion to
movie
theaters,
we've never
been able to
enjoy new
releases on
the big
screen. It
was
something my
husband and
I wanted to
be able to
do and
something we
felt our
youngest
daughter was
missing out
on. But it
just wasn't
possible
until they
turned the
lights up
and the
sound down.
I love it
that the
kids are all
free to be
themselves
and their
parents can
relax and
not worry
that the
behaviors
manifested
by their
disabilities are
bothering
the people
around
them. I
forward
these
e-mails to
several
local groups
and friends
with
children
with
disabilities.

Concern, I would like to thank Variety Children's Charity of North Texas for their continued support of the Special Needs Screenings. My daughter and I attend these movies as often as her schedule allows. It provides an excellent social experience for her as well as her classmate and teammates from sports. We have come to some of the movies as a group and have taken up a whole row or more at the Lewisville theater. The kids really enjoy seeing each other outside of their norm...school or sports, and the parents get a chance to sit together and enjoy each other as well as the movie and the food. I would also like to thank those at Studio Movie Grill - Lewisville that are so patient with our group and work diligently to see that everyone has a pleasant experience. We have had to move tables around to accommodate a wheelchair as well as slide some tables close to the kids to hopefully prevent spills. The employees at this location are always cheerful and courteous. I hope that the these movies will continue to be available at this location. Paige,

Chipmunks."
Which
may not
seem
like a
big deal
on the
face of
it, but
for us
it's
huge.
Paige
has
autism,
and
before
the
Studio
Movie
Grill in
Arlington
opened
this
spring,
the last
movie
we'd
taken
her to
was
"Finding
Nemo"
and we
only
made it
a
quarter-way
through!
In the
last six
months,
we have
seen
nearly
every
movie
offered
to the
special-needs
crowd; a
few
weeks
ago, my
husband
and I
even
took our
toddler,
Chip, to
see "Mr.
Magorium"
with
Paige,
which
was a
wonderful
family
outting.
(It was
his
first
movie,
and he
did
great!)
I cannot
thank
you
enough
for
making
this
opportunity
available
to us
and to
our
friends
in
similar
situations. At
nearly
every
showing,
we've
seen
Paige's
classmates
or kids
we know
from the
Special
Olympics--it
makes
the
experience
even
more
fun! And
just one
note
about
your
staff,
too:
they
couldn't
be
kinder.

Studio Movie Grill Rocks Copperfield The Houston premiere of 100 Tears at the awesome Studio Movie Grill was last night! We had a blast! The turnout was great and everyone had a good time! The Studio Movie Grill is by far the coolest theater I've ever been to. Sorry Adam. If we had a Studio Movie Grill in Tampa that would ******* rock! It's set up were you can eat burgers, dogs, pizza, and drink beer or various other fine refreshments. But the seating is what really made it for us. It's several rows of all high back office chairs in front of one long table. It's set up almost like a screening room for dailies. The place is really cool! Anyway, I wanted to thank Mel House, Melanie Donihoo, Damingo, and all the fine staff at The Studio Movie Grill for doing a fantastic job. We went
tonight for
the 1st time
and have to
say that you
have
probably
ruined our
viewing
movies in
other
theaters.

Thank you so much for an EXCELLENT experience at your venue last Friday, February 16, 2007. It was PERFECT and the kids felt very special to get a theater all to themselves. Your wait staff was very patient while our students found their seats and ordered their meals. They were very kind and considerate and took our students needs to heart. I know this is late, but I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to you, and the staff of the Movie Grill, Dan Riddle especially. He really went above and beyond and worked with us from beginning to end. EVERYONE had a great time and I think we just about packed the house. People appeared to be eating lots o' food, drinking and having a grand time. We couldn't have asked for a better location, theater and atmosphere. The Studio Movie Grill fit us like a glove. Hopefully we left you guys with a good feeling about local independents, or at the very least FriskeFish Productions. I know you'll be the first we call when we're ready to do it again.

My kid and her
boyfriend have
been telling my
husband and me
about Movie
Grill for
months, but we
figured it was
food that was
bland and
expensive. Plus
we didn't want
our movie
disturbed by
waiters/waitresses.
We finally were
bored and
figured we'd
give it a try.
WOW! We ate dinner and saw a movie for about the same price as if we would have went out to dinner and saw a movie, but with no stress on if we would get to the movie in time due to dinner running over. We have on many occasions skipped dinner to get to the movie on time, ate popcorn and got sick due to an empty stomach, we will never do that again. The Waiters/Waitresses were polite, the food good, and the bill brought to us in a timely manner so as not to be stuck in the theatre after the movie was over. Studio Movie Grill is the only place we have been since our first experience with your theatre, and will be the only theatre we frequent again. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
