Adaptive Bike Presentation
SMG Bakersfield
It's a tradition at Studio Movie Grill to donate an adaptive bicycle to a special needs child at newly opened SMG locations in conjunction with the launch of our monthly Special Needs Screening Program. On April 28, the SMG Bakersfield team presented an adaptive tryke to their Special Needs Screenings and Chefs for Children partner, Valley Achievement Center (VAC).
VAC is celebrating 20 years of serving individuals with Autism
The presentation took place during VAC’s Neon Fun Run at Centennial High School, an event that raises money for the specific needs of the four VAC facilities. Thanks to the Bakersfield community, the fundraising goal was surpassed, and the facilities will be able to purchase items for their clients that include SMART boards and playground equipment. Thanks to Team Bakersfield for helping us open hearts and minds, one story at a time.
