Why We're Watching

Although there might still be confusion and questions about how this 2019 Hellboy reboot fits in, or doesn’t, with Guillermo Del Toro’s two original films, one thing we know for sure is that if anyone was going to have even a small chance of giving Ron Perlman a run for his money, it would be David Harbour. From the Red Band trailer especially, it’s obvious that, while the smartass quips remain, the violence is a little less funny this time around. The fight scenes look more ferocious and fast-paced, and David Harbour is absolutely enormous. There’s been a lot of discussion about his body transformation for this role, and we are ready to see his take on this iconic comic book… hero? (We’re told he’s technically a hero.)
