Why We're Watching

When it comes to stories we never get tired of hearing, the classic tale of Robin Hood is among the top. However, Taron Egerton’s new Robin Hood isn’t a retelling, it’s a reimagining. A thick layer of savagery and unvarnished style surrounds this prequel of sorts. Intimidating production design and costumes, fight choreography fit for the biggest action movies, and the new Hood becomes almost ruthless in this fight against corruption. It may be just a bit different from the fairy tale we know, but we’re already in line.
