MRS. CAMERON
STORY NO. 14

As part of our continued mission to be a platform to Open Hearts and Minds, we invited the storytellers in our communities to help us shine a light on the people and organizations that make a positive impact on their communities every day. From the submissions, we chose four of the most inspiring stories as the winners of our One Story Movement® contest — this is filmmaker Ryan Cameron's story.
OPENING HEARTS AND MINDS, ONE STORY AT A TIME®
This documentary focuses on a public school social worker who brings after-school programs to the students of Roosevelt High School in Dallas, Texas. Through these programs, which help bridge the gap between community and school, students are ready to head towards their future with confidence. Mrs. Cameron gains personal fulfillment in her job, and the fact that these after-school programs help shape her students.
