Red Balloon Run and Ride
SMG North Texas
Children’s annual Red Balloon Ride and Run is a family-friendly fun run, walk, and cycling event held at Children’s Medical Center in Plano, Texas. For the fifth consecutive year, SMG partnered with Hearts of Fire to raise money for the Heart Center, a special division at Children’s with personal significance and family-ties to the SMG brand.
Children's Health Hospitals feature a pediatric emergency center, intensive care unit, and a wide spectrum of services. It is regarded by many as the number one premier children's hospital system in the country.
Team SMG: I’m ready to be a hero!
Each year, Team Members from North Texas SMG locations, and the Home Office, gather for this major fundraiser. And what’s a race without a little friendly competition? Fastest times in the 5k and 65-mile bike ride are rewarded and Team SMG and Hearts of Fire took home the trophy for the Team Tent Decorating Champion.
